"The author is looking at the problem of British history in the wrong way. It is not the hidden significance of black skinned people in British history that needs emphasis; it is how insignificant the British were to global history."

This is really interesting, but my argument is really clear. I hate the way in which BHM is used to underpin racist narratives by teaching an incorrect version of British History. You are talking about extrapolating my argument and reexamining Britain's global place history. Yes, that is a worthy ideal which I actually support, but that is not the basis of my arguement. My focus is not wrong, it's specific.
